We are pleased to announce that ScottTech Integrated Solutions has been named a SupplyChainBrain 2010 Great Supply Chain Partner!
SupplyChainBrain is the world’s most comprehensive supply chain management information resource.
SCB’s annual list of 100 Great Supply Chain Partners is the result of a six-month on-line poll in which supply chain professionals are asked to nominate vendors and service providers whose solutions have made a significant impact on their company’s efficiency, customer service and overall supply chain performance.
In 2010, more than 2,800 nominations were submitted from small and large companies covering scores of different industries.
More than 400 vendors of every conceivable type of supply chain activity were nominated – from very specialized technologies, to a wide range of third-party logistics, transportation and consulting services. The 100 companies that received the most qualified nominations are represented on this year’s list which is published within the July issue of SupplyChainBrain magazine and on SupplyChainBrain.com.
We congratulate ScottTech Integrated Solutions for being recognized by their customers as a Great Supply Chain Partner.

ScottTech, LLC has successfully upgraded Dayton VAMC’s SPD (Supply, Processing, and Distribution) warehouse control system.
The upgrade performed included installing the latest version PickPro WCS™ software (v8.1), a new server and four workstations.
The system utilizes White Systems® and Raymond® horizontal carousels and light directed picking to maximize the throughput while minimizing the space of the central stores facility. ScottTech installed PickPro ICS™ control inventory software that controls the 6 horizontal carousels and the light directed picking in the stock room.
ScottTech worked with SPD Chief Alan Lee and Day Shift Supervisor Stephen Munroe to install, test, and place the system into production. Minimal assistance was required by the VA’s I.R.M. (Information Resources Management) staff to bring the system live.
Description of Project
Orders are received from OminCell for replenishment of the Unit stockrooms at the center. Once the orders are imported into PickPro WCS™ from the HL7 interface they are processed quickly for delivery to the units. Completed transactions are then exported from PickPro™ and processed by the OmniCell interface to the VA GIP (Generic Inventory Package) system.
The main goal of the SPD WCS project was;
• Manage Inventory
• Provide Dense Storage
• Quick and Accurate Replenishment of Units
• Utilize a HL7 Interface to receive orders and update the VA’s GIP System
