ScottTech, LLC Releases Version 8.2 of its Warehouse Control Software, PickPro WCS™

East Syracuse, NY — 5/23/2011 — ScottTech Integrated Solutions today announced it has launch a new version of its application, PickPro WCS™ 8.2.

PickPro WCS™ works with Microsoft Windows® 7 32 or 64 Bit, and Microsoft Windows Server® 2010 to offer customers enhanced security, as well as innovative user interface features and reliability improvements. This new version is also compatible with Microsoft Office® 2010.

ScottTech now has the PickPro WCS 8.2 family of products operating at several sites on the most recent builds of Microsoft operating platforms. Modules that are now available and tested on these platforms in version 8.2 include PickPro WCS, Induction Manager, Consolidation Pack Verify Manager, Administration Manager, Import Export Manager, RF/Voice Module, WIP Manager, and Electronic Component Reel Tracking Advisor.

“ScottTech has now converted 4 large sites to the new version operating on the Microsoft Windows® 7 platform, these sites operate different levels of Microsoft Windows® Server and Microsoft SQL Server.” reports Michael Yezzi, Vice President Business Development.

Yezzi also goes on to say that “ScottTech will maintain the PickPro WCS Version 8.1 build of the product for those customers that prefer to remain on the Microsoft Windows® XP Operating System.”

PickPro WCS™ is a powerful yet easy to use warehouse control system for stockroom and distribution center environments. PickPro WCS™ is available in either single or multiple workstation versions, operating standalone or networked depending on the customer’s needs.

PickPro WCS™ can control multiple automated horizontal or vertical carousel pods, flow rack, Pick to Light, flow racking, shelving and many other bulk storage locations. It maintains and manages all inventory items in locations, and controls all of the picking, put away, and cycle count processes.

The PickPro WCS™ mobile computer module works with or without voice on Motorola/Symbol, Intermec, and other handheld wireless devices.
